Your Itinerary
Our company representative will pick you up from the airport or your accommodation facility. After a short briefing about the safari, you will be handed over to your experienced driver guide in the morning for a scenic drive Southeast towards Amboseli National Park, arriving in good time for lunch. You'll embark on your first afternoon game drive exploring this acacia woodland, freshwater swamps, scrub brush, and open plains in search of wildlife returning at sunset for dinner and your overnight stay.
Amboseli National Park (392sq km) is famously known for the breathtaking view of Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest freestanding mountain on earth and the tallest in Africa (5895m). Amboseli is also an elephant’s paradise where the massive African savannah elephants roam from swamp to swamp grazing all day. Because of the abundance of water and pasture, other animals to be spotted here are cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, gnus, gazelles, hippos, and many others.
Accommodation
Spend the night at Kibo Safari Camp, a Mid-range tented camp just outside Amboseli NP.
Lunch, and Dinner Will be Provided
You'll leave the camp after breakfast, carrying your packed lunch to be enjoyed in the wild. You'll spend the whole day exploring the marshlands and swamps of Amboseli which are fed by subterranean water channels. Water is abundant throughout the year and so is the pasture. Elephants and various other herbivores are found here. You'll retreat to the lodge late in the afternoon after a long exploration of this 392sq km.
You'll also have an option of starting the day with an early morning game drive to search for animals when they're at their most active. Then, you'll return to the lodge for breakfast and lunch.
You'll spend the hottest part of the day relaxing in the camp reading your favorite book or just listening to your favourite music while observing the birds. Don't stress, the animals will be doing the same. Afterward, you'll head off in the afternoon (4:00 pm) for another drive through the park. You will return to the lodge at sunset for dinner and your overnight stay.

Thereafter, you'll check into your hotel later in the evening.
This park is gorgeous all year round and boasts rocky escarpments, patches of yellow-barked acacia forest, and a waterfall. It is home to flamingos, both black and white rhinos, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and the endangered Rothschild's giraffe. The southern end of the lake is the best place to see wildlife. The forested area below the Rhino Cliff is a favorite lion-spotting point where lionesses love to sleep in the trees, and leopards frequent the same area.

One of our favorite places to look for wildlife in Kenya is the Masai Mara National Reserve. That's because the wildlife here is incredible, with big cats (lions, leopards, and cheetahs) and elephants among the highlights. There's a very good chance you'll also see giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, hyenas, and, of course, impalas. Bring your binoculars, because more than 500 species of birds have been recorded in the reserve. It's a place of beautiful savannah landscapes as well, with lots of acacia trees. You'll visit the reserve is a highlight for many travelers.

FAQs
Absolutely! Safaris can be wonderfully safe and memorable for families, especially if you choose kid-friendly lodges and shorter game drives suited to younger travelers. Just be sure to book with experienced guides who know how to balance safety with a fun, educational experience!
Ideally, 6-12 months in advance is perfect, especially if you’re traveling during peak migration seasons (July-October). Booking early gives you the best choice of lodges and ensures you don’t miss out on those special wildlife moments!
Yes, certain vaccines are recommended depending on your home country and recent travel history. Vaccines for yellow fever, hepatitis, and typhoid are common, and malaria prevention is advised for many safari areas. Consult your doctor for specifics tailored to your family or group.
The dry season (June-October) is best for wildlife sightings, including the iconic Great Migration. But even the “green season” (November-May) has perks, like lush landscapes and fewer tourists—perfect for those looking for a more serene experience who are on a budget or looking to do some photography!
Oh, incredibly romantic! Think secluded lodges, stunning sunsets, and private dinners under the stars. Many lodges offer honeymoon packages with added touches like bush breakfasts, hot air balloon rides, or even a private guide. It’s an adventure for two that you’ll remember forever.
There’s a 97% chance, especially if you visit top reserves like the Masai Mara, Serengeti, or Amboseli. While nature has no guarantees, your guide will make sure you have the best possible chance to see lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, and buffalo in their natural habitat.
A private safari gives you exclusive use of a vehicle and guide, allowing for a tailored experience, while group safaris are more social and budget-friendly and you are normally crowded in the vehicles as well as uncomfortable. Couples or small groups often prefer private safaris for more intimacy and flexibility in choosing activities and timing.
Most lodges have Wi-Fi in common areas, though it might be slower than city connections. But hey, part of the magic of a safari is to “unplug” and soak in the wildlife without distractions!
Pack lightweight, neutral-colored clothing for game drives, plus a warm layer for early mornings and evenings. Bring comfy walking shoes, a wide-brimmed hat, and sun protection. Many lodges offer laundry services, so you don’t need to over-pack!
Many lodges provide snacks, and some allow you to bring your own. Just remember not to leave anything behind, as safari parks aim to preserve the natural environment for animals and future visitors alike.
There are excellent budget-friendly options, including mid-range lodges, group safaris, and shorter safari durations. You can still experience incredible wildlife and scenic views without splurging on luxury. Kenya and Tanzania offer a range of options to fit any budget.
