Weekend Gateway – Zanzibar Beach & Spice Experience

Evening:
You will arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) for your evening flight from Nairobi to Zanzibar.

Upon arrival at Zanzibar International Airport, you will be met by our Camptrek Safaris representative and transferred to your hotel.

After check-in, the rest of the evening is reserved for relaxation. Guests can unwind and enjoy the island atmosphere as they prepare for the next day’s cultural experience.

Overnight: Nungwi Beach Resort
Meal Plan: Dinner (depending on hotel arrangement)

Morning:
After breakfast, you will begin your Zanzibar experience with a guided Stone Town City Tour. This includes visits to historical streets, cultural landmarks, the old slave market site, and vibrant local markets that reflect Zanzibar’s rich Swahili heritage.

You will then proceed to a Spice Tour, where you will experience why Zanzibar is known as the “Spice Island.” Here you will see, smell, and taste fresh spices such as cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and tropical fruits.

Afternoon:
After the spice experience, you will transfer to the northern coast of Zanzibar to Nungwi Beach, one of the island’s most beautiful beach destinations.

Upon arrival, check in at your beach resort and enjoy free time at the ocean.

Evening:
Relax at Nungwi Beach and enjoy a sunset experience by the Indian Ocean.

Overnight: Nungwi Beach Resort
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Morning:
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast at the beach resort overlooking the Indian Ocean. The morning is free for leisure activities such as swimming, beach walks, or simply relaxing by the shore.

Midday:
Check out from the hotel after lunch. Depending on flight timing, you may enjoy some final beach relaxation before departure.

Afternoon:
Transfer to Zanzibar International Airport for your flight back to Nairobi.

Evening:
Departure from Zanzibar to Nairobi, marking the end of your Weekend Gateway experience.
