Day 1
FRIDAY – NAIROBI TO KIGALI EVENING ARRIVAL & RELAXATION
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), you will board your scheduled flight to Kigali, Rwanda.
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our company representative and transferred to your hotel for check-in and relaxation.
Depending on your arrival time, you may unwind at the hotel or enjoy the surrounding area at leisure.
The remainder of the day is reserved for rest and preparation for the exciting safari experiences ahead.

Day 2
SATURDAY – Kigali Genocide Memorial Visit & Transfer to Musanze
Morning:
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a guided Kigali City Tour, including a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial. This meaningful experience offers deep insight into Rwanda’s history, resilience, and national reconciliation journey. You will also enjoy a drive through Kigali’s clean and modern city center, exploring key landmarks that reflect Rwanda’s transformation and cultural heritage. Lunch will be served at a selected local hotel restaurant.
Afternoon:
In the afternoon, depart for Musanze in the Northern Province of Rwanda, home to Volcanoes National Park and the mountain gorillas. The journey takes approximately 2 to 3 hours through Rwanda’s scenic “Land of a Thousand Hills,” featuring rolling green landscapes, terraced farms, and picturesque countryside views. Upon arrival in Musanze, you will check in at your lodge or hotel and settle in for relaxation.
Evening:
The evening is at leisure to relax and prepare for the unforgettable gorilla trekking experience the following day.

Day 3
SUNDAY – Gorilla Trekking Experience and Departure
Morning:
After an early breakfast at the lodge, you will transfer to the Volcanoes National Park headquarters for registration, briefing, and trekking formalities. You will be assigned a gorilla family and guided by experienced rangers into the lush volcanic forest for your unforgettable gorilla trekking experience. The trek may take between 2 to 6 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas, offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to observe these majestic primates in their natural habitat.
Afternoon:
After the trek, you will return to the park headquarters and receive your trekking certificate. You will then enjoy lunch at a carefully selected local hotel restaurant in Musanze. After lunch, begin your journey back to Kigali, driving through Rwanda’s scenic countryside landscapes.
Evening:
Upon arrival in Kigali, you will be transferred to Kigali International Airport for your departure flight or dropped at your hotel if an overnight stay is required.
