Morning, today, you will be picked up from the airport or your accommodation in Nairobi by our company representative. After a brief introductory session, you will be handed over to your driver-guide to begin your safari towards Amboseli National Park. You will arrive at the lodge in time for lunch.
Afternoon: After lunch, you can enjoy the camp's facilities and activities before embarking on your first afternoon game drive, returning to your lodge or hotel at sunset.
Amboseli National Park is renowned for its breathtaking panoramic views of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the tallest freestanding mountain in the world, and the highest peak in Africa at 5,895 meters. The park is also an elephant paradise, where large populations of African savanna elephants roam from swamp to swamp, grazing throughout the day. The observation hill provides stunning views of the mountain peak and the parkโs plains and swamps. The varied wildlife in the park includes giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, wildebeest, buffalo, and many more.

Option 1-Leave the camp after breakfast, carrying your packed lunch to enjoy in the wild. Spend the whole day exploring the marshlands and swamps of Amboseli, which are fed by subterranean water channels. Water is abundant throughout the year, as is the pasture. Elephants and various other herbivores can be found here. After a long day of exploration in this 392 kmยฒ park, you will return to the lodge late in the afternoon.
Option 2-Alternatively, you can start the day with an early morning game drive to search for animals when they are most active. Then return to the lodge for a relaxed breakfast and lunch.
During the hottest part of the day, take some time to relax in camp. You can read your favourite book, write in your journal about the safari, or listen to your favourite music while observing the birds. Donโt worry; the animals will be resting too! In the afternoon, head out again at 16:00 for another drive through the park. Return to the lodge at sunset for dinner and overnight.

Morning. After enjoying an early breakfast, you will depart from Amboseli National Park and drive towards Nairobi. Along the way, there will be a stop at the renowned Carnivore Restaurant or Tamarind for lunch. Next, you will stop at the spectacular Great Rift Valley viewpoint, where you can stretch your legs and capture photos of the contrasting landscapes, including Mount Longonot and Mount Suswa. Following this, you will continue to Lake Naivasha, arriving in good time.
Afternoon: In the afternoon, relax by the poolside in preparation for a busy day filled with outdoor activities on the next Day

Morning: Get ready for a day filled with outdoor activities! After breakfast, pack your belongings and head to a nearby animal sanctuary for a walking safari. Alternatively, you can visit Crescent Island, where the animals are less wary of humans, allowing you to take pictures up close.
After exploring the sanctuary, drive to Hell's Gate National Park (Optional Activity). You can choose to cycle, walk, or drive through the park, as it is one of the few national parks that permit these activities. Following this adventure, enjoy lunch before setting off for Lake Nakuru. You will arrive in the late afternoon and have a game drive on your way to your lodge, which is located within the park.
Please noteย that the activities mentioned above are not included in the price and are optional. Payment for these activities should be made directly to the suppliers. You can opt to skip the activities and drive to Lake Nakuru for a game drive.

Morning, afterย having breakfast, you will begin your first early morning game drive. Despite the early start, morning game drives are incredibly rewarding, as you can spot animals when they are most active. Lake Nakuru is home to flamingos, black and white rhinos, lions, leopards, buffalo, and the endangered Rothschild's giraffe. The southern end of the lake is the best place to observe wildlife.
Following the game drive, you will exit the park and return to the lodge for lunch (you can choose to carry picnic lunch boxes if you prefer).
Afternoon: After lunch, you will drive through the Rift Valley floor to the Masai Mara National Reserve. Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed by Maasai warriors who will escort you on a cultural walking safari, including a visit to a Maasai village to learn more about the community that has coexisted with the Mara wildlife for centuries. You will return later in the day.

Morning: Spend a full day game viewing in the renowned "Eighth Wonder of the Animal World," the Masai Mara. This area is famous for its large herds of plains game, including leopards, cheetahs, and lions, as well as numerous elephants and nearly every other type of wildlife found in Kenya. You will embark on a full-day game drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve.
For lunch, enjoy a picnic lunch under a flat-top acacia tree in the savannah while watching animals graze nearby. Afterwards, continue your game viewing on the way back to your camp, arriving in the late afternoon after thoroughly exploring this vast grassland savannah that spans 1,500 square kilometres.
Optional: You can book a hot air balloon ride that departs early in the morning. After landing, the crew will assist you out of the basket and escort you to a beautiful setting for a bush breakfast. This experience is unforgettable and well worth the price.

Morning: After a leisurely breakfast, you will check out of your lodge, pack your belongings, and drive back to Nairobi. Along the way, you may choose to visit the Giraffe Centre in Nairobi, where you can get up close to these gentle and endangered Rothschild's giraffes. Here, you will have the opportunity to feed them and learn more about these magnificent creatures.
Afternoon: After your visit, you will proceed to your respective hotel or the airport, marking the end of your safari adventure.
Depending on your homeward flight departure time, you will coordinate your departure from Masai Mara with your driver-guide.

Camptrek Safaris excelled in providing a brilliant itinerary customised to our preferences and offered excellent and professional service from the first enquiry to our final footsteps on African soil. The many National Parks were beautiful and unique and our expert and friendly guides took great care and patience to ensure that we saw as much wildlife as possible. Those only wanting to see the Big 5 wonโt be disappointed but we enjoyed the smaller, more difficult to find, birds and mammals that were as equally exciting. The accommodation was varied but each lodge offered a very high standard of comfort, service and location. The vehicles are built to tackle all terrains and we three had plenty of space and visibility. Well done all at Camptrek Safaris - we shall definitely travel with you in the future!Posted on Jenny CooperVerified Wonderful safari with Camptrek in Kenya!
