Fantastic trip across Kenya, Tanzania & Zanzibar
If you’re looking to do a full safari circuit in East Africa, I can’t recommend Camptrek Safaris enough. We covered a huge amount of ground—Amboseli, the Mara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater—before flying out to Zanzibar to wind down. Everything behind the scenes was handled by Rose, who was brilliant to work with. She was always quick to respond to questions, kept us updated, and ensured every handoff between regions was seamless. On the road, our guides Eric, Ben, and Jackson were second to none. They were reliable, knew the roads and parks inside out, and made sure we got the absolute most out of every single game drive. Safari for the heart
I knew our safari would be magical, however, I wasn’t prepared for the healing, connection, and restoration it brought to my heart and spirit. We were in a group of 11 traveling through Kenya, Tanzania, and Zanzibar. Everything was seamless - from CampTrek’s help prior to leaving with required paperwork, the countless connections, each hotel was a magnificent experience (AMARI MARA WOW WOW WOW!!), the food and coffee are incredible (you will not go hungry!!), the hot air balloon ride is worth every penny, the animals and scenery leave you in awe, and the best part - meeting such bright, generous, loving people. I am filled with gratitude and still trying to process and hold tight to how my life has changed. My African safari experience
Being my first safari, I didn’t know what to expect. My expectations were exceeded in every aspect, staff, transportation, lodging, and the wildlife experience. My group of 11 pax had a wonderful 14 days Kenya, Tanzania & Zanzibar private tour! I arrived directly with Camptrek through Margaret. The prices are reasonable, good value for the safari & beach holidays we want. They Took care of us from beginning to end. The guides are exceptional and very knowledgeable. Unforgettable wildlife safari with the best guide
Our family of four, including two teenagers, spent 14 unforgettable days on safari with Camp Trek, and we couldn't have been happier with the experience. From the very beginning, everything was organized perfectly. Every transfer, the great accommodations, and activity worked exactly as planned, and the entire trip ran without a single issue. We also appreciated travelling in a modern, comfortable, and well-maintained safari car. However, what truly makes or breaks a safari is the guide. We were incredibly fortunate to have Pili Pili as our guide. He is simply outstanding - champions league! For him, guiding is not just a job—it is clearly his passion. His knowledge of wildlife is exceptional, and he shared fascinating insights about the animals, the landscapes, the culture, and the people of Kenya. We learned so much every single day. On top of that, Pili Pili is an extremely safe and considerate driver. He treats both wildlife and people with great respect, and always made us feel comfortable and secure.
