Tour Itinerary
You will be picked up from your city hotel or from the Airport in Nairobi and depart early morning to Masai Mara National Reserve, it holds on as one of the few places left on earth where wildlife still lives comparatively undisturbed, in the numbers that once roamed the plains and forests of Africa.
As the northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of many thousands of Wildebeest, Zebras, and attendant predators.
Arrive in time for lunch at your hotel, lodge, or tented camp, and then go on an afternoon game drive returning back at sunset for dinner and overnight.
- Mid-range tented camp located inside Masai Mara NR

You will spend a full day exploring the rich tree-studded grassland and rolling hills of the famous savannah on a wildlife-viewing tour.
The Mara is well-known for its vast herds of plains game animals, such as leopards, cheetahs, lions, and other herbivores. It is home to virtually every other type of wildlife found in Kenya.
You will have a picnic lunch under a flat-top acacia tree in the savannah while watching the animals grazing.
After that, you will continue with the wildlife viewing en route to your camp, arriving late in the afternoon after thoroughly exploring this massive grassland savannah that measures 1,500 sq.
You can also book a balloon ride early in the morning, which is an optional activity.
After landing, the crew will assist you out of the basket and escort you to a lovely setting for a bush breakfast, which is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Later, you can join your driver guide and proceed with a full-day game drive.
- Mid-range tented camp located inside Masai Mara NR

You will have an early morning pick-up with a Masai village visit, followed by a scenic drive to Lake Naivasha.
Renowned worldwide for its serene beauty and abundant birdlife, Lake Naivasha is a freshwater lake that serves as a haven for nature enthusiasts.
The lake is home to a diverse array of bird species, including pelicans, cormorants, and the iconic African fish eagle, offering a birdwatcher’s paradise.
Surrounded by lush greenery and acacia woodlands, it’s also a perfect spot to catch a glimpse of hippos lazing in the water or grazing along the shore.
The tranquil atmosphere and stunning landscapes make Lake Naivasha one of Kenya’s hidden gems.
Additionally, Lake Naivasha is home to Hell's Gate National Park and Crescent Island, perfect for outdoor activities.
Don’t miss the chance for an afternoon boat ride and optional walking safari.
- Mid-range lodge located at Lake Naivasha (Naivasha)

You will begin your day with an early morning start and drive to Amboseli National Park.
Upon arrival, check-in at your accommodation and enjoy lunch.
After lunch, you will proceed for an afternoon game drive in Amboseli National Park.
Amboseli National Park is located south of Nairobi.
The park mainly consists of a dry, ancient lake bed and fragile grasslands, interspersed with patches of acacia woodland.
In the southern area, you will find several small, rocky volcanic hills.
The vegetation around the swamps of Ol Kenya, Ol Tukai, and Enkongo Narok is lush, featuring yellow-barked acacias and phoenix palms.
You will have dinner and spend the night at either a campsite or a lodge.

At Amboseli National Park, You have two exciting options for exploring the breathtaking wildlife and landscapes.
For the first option, you’ll start your day with a hearty breakfast before heading out into the park with a packed lunch.
Spend the entire day uncovering the wonders of Amboseli, from its lush marshlands to its sprawling swamps, as you observe the incredible variety of wildlife.
After a full day of adventure, you’ll return to the lodge in the late afternoon to unwind and reflect on your experiences.
The second option begins with an early morning game drive, the perfect time to see animals at their most active.
After the drive, return to the lodge to enjoy a relaxing breakfast and lunch.
Spend the midday hours in camp, where you can relax with a good book, write in your journal, or watch the vibrant birdlife around you.
In the late afternoon, around 4 pm, you’ll head back into the park for another game drive to capture the magic of Amboseli as the day winds down.
- Mid-range tented camp located just outside Amboseli NP

After enjoying a leisurely breakfast in the morning, you will check out of your lodge, pack your belongings, and drive back to Nairobi.
You have the option to have lunch at the Carnivore or the Tamarind Hotel in Nairobi City.
After lunch, you will be dropped off at your respective hotel or the airport, marking the end of your safari.
Depending on the departure time of your homeward flight, please coordinate with your driver to ensure that you arrive at the airport on time so you don’t miss your flight.
P.S. You can choose to continue your holiday with a beach getaway to Diani or Mombasa, accessible by road, train, or flight from Amboseli.

Reviews
EXCELLENT Based on 87 reviews Posted on Scott SaffleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Highly recommend. My wife and I had an unforgettable experience by booking our safari with Camptrek Safaris. The booking process went smooth and with Camptrek Safaris knowledgeable and experienced staff that helped us create the perfect safari experience for the two of us thoughtout Kenya. Our entire experience from booking, to being picked up at the airport and dropped off at the airport was seamless. Camptrek Safaris was very responsive and extremely knowledgeable. Our guide during our Safari, Ben, was clearly one of the best in the business. He was passionate, extremely knowledgeable, and clearly knew how to find the best spots in the parks to see the animals as close as possible. We highly recommend requesting Ben as your guide during your booking process.Posted on Julianne LilholtTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had a great experience booking a 12 day safari in Kenya and Tanzania with Camptrek Safaris. We went to Amboseli National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park, Masai Mara National Reserve, Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara National Park, and Tarangire National Park. From the start, Margaret was extremely helpful and accommodating in assisting planning and booking the safari beforehand. I had many questions and added or changed a few things in the itinerary, and she answered promptly in detail and easily changed the itinerary when asked. She was friendly the whole time and never made me feel like I was bothering her with questions. She also helped me book a flight for the end of the safari because the airline's website wasn't working for me. I highly recommend working with Margaret to plan your trip! Once I arrived in Nairobi, Margaret was there waiting for me at the airport with a clear sign when I exited customs, which took an immensely long time, yet she was still patiently waiting there! The flight was delayed and customs took probably over an hour, so I was thankful that Margaret was willing to wait so long and late at night for me. The taxi van that took me to the first hotel was very nice, too. I had 2 guides and 2 vehicles - one for Kenya and one for Tanzania. Julius Pilipili was my first guide and I would give him 5 stars! He was very friendly, upbeat, and excellent overall. He had an interest in photography, so he was able to understand angles and light very well and set me up with great positions for shots without me needing to even ask. I don't know if I even asked once for him to move where we stopped the vehicle… He just automatically knew where to stop. He really has a talent for guiding. We saw a ton of animals (big 5 included)! I definitely don't think you'll be disappointed having him guide you. Both guides were knowledgeable about the wildlife giving interesting fun facts and always had answers if I asked. If you are serious about photography, I would highly recommend trying to get Julius to guide the whole trip because that's what I would want next time! I was really impressed with him and liked his energy. The hotels were all very nice and enjoyable. Beautiful rooms with many having good views. I even got upgraded because of a misunderstanding, and I really appreciated that Camptrek Safaris listened to my concern and responded in a way that let me know that they cared about my experience and wanted to make it up to me. It would make me feel comfortable to book again with them in the future knowing that if any other issues were to arise, they would be willing to listen and help. Overall, the whole experience with them was great! I was a little nervous beforehand booking with Camptrek Safaris since they don't have quite as many reviews as some of the other companies I came across, but I was looking to support a smaller business employing locals and they also offered some of the best pricing I inquired about, while also being more responsive than some others. I can assure you after my experience though, they are legit and I think anyone would really enjoy their trip with them!Posted on zsazsa kasongoTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great experience through the beautifully crafted itineraryPosted on Candelaria SmartTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Awesome experience! Planning was quick and efficient thanks to Lucy. I asked her way too many questions and she was always kind. Communication was great and easy via email or whatsapp before and during the trip. Our guide/driver Shabani was incredible every step of the way. He was punctual, patient and knowledgeable. The car was very comfortable and clean. Everything turned out better than we expected!Posted on Nadia SebtaouiTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Amazing 2-Day Solo Safari – Highly Recommend! I did a 2-day private solo safari from Nairobi to Lake Nakuru & Lake Naivasha, and it was incredible. The price was very fair, and the team was extremely responsive, even with my last-minute booking. I was in Nairobi for a conference with only a few days free, and this tour was perfectly adapted to a short stay and tight timing. Everything felt personalized, well-organized, and stress-free. My driver-guide was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable, sharing great insights and always adapting to what I wanted. As a solo traveler, I felt safe and very well taken care of. The night at Egret Savannah Camp was peaceful and comfortable. Wildlife, landscapes, overall experience — everything was perfect. If you’re looking for a flexible, reliable, well-priced safari, especially for a short or last-minute trip, I 100% recommend this one!Posted on Randall DietzTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Amazing 14-day private safari with Camptrek Ltd. through Kenya and Tanzania! Everything worked perfectly — smooth booking, quick communication, and great flexibility. Our guides Ben, Richard, and Sam were knowledgeable, friendly, and excellent wildlife spotters. All lodges and camps had beautiful locations and high comfort. A truly unforgettable experience — highly recommended!Posted on Indi and Jack GarthTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had the best time on safari with Ben! He was a friendly and knowledgeable guide who not only showed us so many amazing animals, but also taught us about them and the places we visited! Couldn’t recommend the team at Camptrek highly enough! We’d love to visit again.Posted on 阿百Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our driver Ben gave us the most amazing holiday! While we were waiting for the wildebeest to cross the river during the Great Migration, he didn’t just have us sit and wait around — instead, he took us to explore nearby areas, like the border and rivers where we could see hippos and crocodiles. It made the whole experience so much more fun and exciting! Ben also shared so much knowledge about the animals — how to tell different types of gazelles apart, and the habits of leopards, cheetahs, and lions. He’s absolutely incredible at spotting wildlife. Many times, he’d point something out, and it would take us a while before we could even see what he was looking at! Every time we made a wish, Ben did everything he could to make it happen — taking us to see big cats hunting, or finding all sorts of adorable baby animals. We can’t recommend Ben enough! We’re already dreaming about coming back soon for another safari adventure with him. Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust.
