Reviews
EXCELLENT Based on 87 reviews Posted on Scott SaffleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Highly recommend. My wife and I had an unforgettable experience by booking our safari with Camptrek Safaris. The booking process went smooth and with Camptrek Safaris knowledgeable and experienced staff that helped us create the perfect safari experience for the two of us thoughtout Kenya. Our entire experience from booking, to being picked up at the airport and dropped off at the airport was seamless. Camptrek Safaris was very responsive and extremely knowledgeable. Our guide during our Safari, Ben, was clearly one of the best in the business. He was passionate, extremely knowledgeable, and clearly knew how to find the best spots in the parks to see the animals as close as possible. We highly recommend requesting Ben as your guide during your booking process.Posted on Julianne LilholtTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had a great experience booking a 12 day safari in Kenya and Tanzania with Camptrek Safaris. We went to Amboseli National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park, Masai Mara National Reserve, Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara National Park, and Tarangire National Park. From the start, Margaret was extremely helpful and accommodating in assisting planning and booking the safari beforehand. I had many questions and added or changed a few things in the itinerary, and she answered promptly in detail and easily changed the itinerary when asked. She was friendly the whole time and never made me feel like I was bothering her with questions. She also helped me book a flight for the end of the safari because the airline's website wasn't working for me. I highly recommend working with Margaret to plan your trip! Once I arrived in Nairobi, Margaret was there waiting for me at the airport with a clear sign when I exited customs, which took an immensely long time, yet she was still patiently waiting there! The flight was delayed and customs took probably over an hour, so I was thankful that Margaret was willing to wait so long and late at night for me. The taxi van that took me to the first hotel was very nice, too. I had 2 guides and 2 vehicles - one for Kenya and one for Tanzania. Julius Pilipili was my first guide and I would give him 5 stars! He was very friendly, upbeat, and excellent overall. He had an interest in photography, so he was able to understand angles and light very well and set me up with great positions for shots without me needing to even ask. I don't know if I even asked once for him to move where we stopped the vehicle… He just automatically knew where to stop. He really has a talent for guiding. We saw a ton of animals (big 5 included)! I definitely don't think you'll be disappointed having him guide you. Both guides were knowledgeable about the wildlife giving interesting fun facts and always had answers if I asked. If you are serious about photography, I would highly recommend trying to get Julius to guide the whole trip because that's what I would want next time! I was really impressed with him and liked his energy. The hotels were all very nice and enjoyable. Beautiful rooms with many having good views. I even got upgraded because of a misunderstanding, and I really appreciated that Camptrek Safaris listened to my concern and responded in a way that let me know that they cared about my experience and wanted to make it up to me. It would make me feel comfortable to book again with them in the future knowing that if any other issues were to arise, they would be willing to listen and help. Overall, the whole experience with them was great! I was a little nervous beforehand booking with Camptrek Safaris since they don't have quite as many reviews as some of the other companies I came across, but I was looking to support a smaller business employing locals and they also offered some of the best pricing I inquired about, while also being more responsive than some others. I can assure you after my experience though, they are legit and I think anyone would really enjoy their trip with them!Posted on zsazsa kasongoTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great experience through the beautifully crafted itineraryPosted on Candelaria SmartTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Awesome experience! Planning was quick and efficient thanks to Lucy. I asked her way too many questions and she was always kind. Communication was great and easy via email or whatsapp before and during the trip. Our guide/driver Shabani was incredible every step of the way. He was punctual, patient and knowledgeable. The car was very comfortable and clean. Everything turned out better than we expected!Posted on Nadia SebtaouiTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Amazing 2-Day Solo Safari – Highly Recommend! I did a 2-day private solo safari from Nairobi to Lake Nakuru & Lake Naivasha, and it was incredible. The price was very fair, and the team was extremely responsive, even with my last-minute booking. I was in Nairobi for a conference with only a few days free, and this tour was perfectly adapted to a short stay and tight timing. Everything felt personalized, well-organized, and stress-free. My driver-guide was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable, sharing great insights and always adapting to what I wanted. As a solo traveler, I felt safe and very well taken care of. The night at Egret Savannah Camp was peaceful and comfortable. Wildlife, landscapes, overall experience — everything was perfect. If you’re looking for a flexible, reliable, well-priced safari, especially for a short or last-minute trip, I 100% recommend this one!Posted on Randall DietzTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. It was very well organised and our guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and had great communication skills. The accommodation and food was excellent. We had such a wonderful experience with awesome memories. We highly recommend this tour.Posted on Linnebjerg GamerzTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Amazing 14-day private safari with Camptrek Ltd. through Kenya and Tanzania! Everything worked perfectly — smooth booking, quick communication, and great flexibility. Our guides Ben, Richard, and Sam were knowledgeable, friendly, and excellent wildlife spotters. All lodges and camps had beautiful locations and high comfort. A truly unforgettable experience — highly recommended!Posted on Indi and Jack GarthTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had the best time on safari with Ben! He was a friendly and knowledgeable guide who not only showed us so many amazing animals, but also taught us about them and the places we visited! Couldn’t recommend the team at Camptrek highly enough! We’d love to visit again.Posted on 阿百Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our driver Ben gave us the most amazing holiday! While we were waiting for the wildebeest to cross the river during the Great Migration, he didn’t just have us sit and wait around — instead, he took us to explore nearby areas, like the border and rivers where we could see hippos and crocodiles. It made the whole experience so much more fun and exciting! Ben also shared so much knowledge about the animals — how to tell different types of gazelles apart, and the habits of leopards, cheetahs, and lions. He’s absolutely incredible at spotting wildlife. Many times, he’d point something out, and it would take us a while before we could even see what he was looking at! Every time we made a wish, Ben did everything he could to make it happen — taking us to see big cats hunting, or finding all sorts of adorable baby animals. We can’t recommend Ben enough! We’re already dreaming about coming back soon for another safari adventure with him. Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust.
