Tour Itinerary
Day 1 : Nairobi to Amboseli
Today you will be met on arrival at Jomo Kenyatta international airport, or picked from your hotel by Camptrek safaris representative, briefed and transferred to Wilson airport for the 0800am hrs local flight to Amboseli national airport. You will be met in Amboseli after 45min flight and embark on a morning game drive, before checking into Amboseli Serena lodge in good time for lunch. Free mid afternoon enjoying the lodge facility like swimming or bird watching and at 1600hrs, enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2 : Amboseli - Amboseli
Leave the camp after breakfast, carrying your packed lunch to be enjoyed in the wild. Spend the whole day exploring the marshlands and swamps of Amboseli which are Fed by subterranean water channels, Water is abundant throughout the year and so is the pasture. Elephants and various other herbivores and are found here. You will retreat to the lodge late in the afternoon after a long exploration of this 392km sq. park.
You also have an option of Starting the day with an early morning game drive to search for animals when they're at their most active, Then return to the Lodge for a relaxed breakfast and lunch.
Spend the hottest part of the day relaxing in camp reading your favourite book or writing your journal about the safari or just listening to your favourite music while observing the birds – don't stress, The animals will be doing the same – then head off again in the afternoon at (16:00hrs)for another drive through the park. Return to the lodge at sunset for dinner and over night.

Day 3 : Amboseli (Fly) Via Nairobi To Samburu
After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip for the 0830 hrs flight to Nairobi. On arrival, you will connect onto the 0915 hrs flight and fly over the rich coffee and tea plantations of central Kenyan highlands to arrive in Samburu airstrip. You will be met by Camtrek safaris tour leader/ driver guide and transferred to Sarova Shaba Samburu game lodge in good time for lunch. At 1600 hrs, you will enjoy your first game drive within the park to introduce to you the Samburu special five namely the Grevy Zebras, Reticulated Giraffes, Oryx, Gerenuk and the Somali ostrich. Before retiring back to the Lodge/camp late in the evening.

Day 4 : Samburu - Samburu
Depart for an early morning game drive in this reserve whose breath-taking panorama, flora and fauna is unique and endemic to Kenya’s Northern hemisphere and return for your late breakfast. Then spend the middle of the day relaxing just like the animals do, read your book or write your journal, head out again at (4.00 PM) as the day begins to cool. Spot the Samburu special five namely the Grevy Zebras, Reticulated Giraffes, Oryx, Gerenuk and the Somali ostrich. Before retiring back to the Lodge/camp late in the evening.

Day 5 : Samburu (Fly) To Masai Mara
This morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to Samburu airstrip for the 0915 hrs flight to Maasai mara which takes about 60 min. you will be met on arrival by our driver guide/ tour leader and enjoy a game drive enroute to your camp in good time for check in and lunch. Short siesta and at 1600 hrs, embark on an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 6 : Masai Mara - Masai Mara
This is a full day spent game viewing across the rich tree studded grassland and rolling hills of the famous "Eighth Wonder of the animal World". The Mara is renowned for its great herds of plains game animals like leopards, Cheetahs & Lions. It also has numerous Elephants and virtually every other type of wildlife to be found in Kenya. You will have a full-day game drive in Masai Mara National Reserve.
Your lunch today is picnic lunch boxes in the savannah under a flat-top acacia tree while watching the animals grazing. Continue with the game viewing on-route to your camp, arriving at your late in the afternoon after thoroughly exploring this massive grassland savannah measuring 1,500sq km.
You have an option of booking a balloon ride today which takes off early in the morning. After landing, the crew helps you out of the basket and escorts you to a lovely setting for a bush breakfast. It is a lifetime experience and worth the price.

Day 7 : Masai Mara To Nairobi
Today after breakfast, you will be transferred to keekorok airstrip Masai Mara with game drive en route for your 1000 hrs flight to Wilson Airport. you will be met on arrival by our cCamptrek representative and transferred to the famous carnivore restaurant for lunch followed by a drop off at your hotel or at Jomo Kenyatta international Airport for your flight home.
